hell is where the heart is
I can never see beyond the border
yearning for freedom
to see a normal life untouched by hate
I am here because my soul was weak
and fell prey to the darkness
if I hadn't been so weak
I would still be there with you
but my soul is that of a human
and yours is that of an angel
you were never touched by the weaknesss that preys on a human heart
I was and became weak
pulled to hell though I long for heaven
you saw my soul once and said it was beautiful
would you say that now
if you could see it
would you say that if you knew
it was a soul of darkness?
