selfstruggles

He hasn’t found the time to perish inside,
To feel the doubts of his crisis before him.
He stands before a mirror,
Drawing in his imperfections
With the crayons in his mind.
He picks apart their criticisms
And tries to make them worse.
He smiles as he knows he’ll never be better.
As he speaks his voice cracks as he becomes louder.
It shrivels into a fist that’s now been
Covered in bits of glass dotted with blood.

You know that it can drive you crazy trying to figure out this life. Who we are is a lot of times very different than who we want to be. And when everyone around us is crowding for space that should belong to our conscience life gets even harde. That is what I get from your write. |
