Alone your awareness perceives the beauty of the day
Reflecting from your vibrant presence in our play
From suitor to suitor you aimlessly stray
Face first into each man's contextual foray
I watch as your desireable facets decay
Just as the predictable tools jump into the fray
You become overwhelmed by all of the truths I say
The only way for you to escape is to walk forever away
But I have moods which will subside if you stay
Contrasting yourself from everything by your gleaming ray
Sunshine's love glistens within whichever layman is gray
The message these words seek to so deftly portray
You are the motivation for this life I want to slay.
