I got lost in the woods (my problems)

Contributed by nhisname2005 on Sunday, 12th June 2005 @ 10:04:49 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Went walking one day just like times before,
I found myself in a forest the trees were so tall,
I was lost and confused didn't know how to find myself out,
I ran quickly, I wanted out.

Then I sat down on a big rock,
Tears falling down my face,
Then I spoke to God,
This is what I had to say.

Lord, you see what is going on,
You know the situation,
I can't see clearly,
I can't think straight,
Lord, I know your always on time,
Your never late.

But can't you help me quickly here,
I don't know what to do,
I know I can get through anything,
If I only lean on you.

Finally light came through the trees,
A path began to form beneath my feet,
I stood up and I said thank you Lord,
I feel alot better then I did before.

The forest just became weeds on the ground.
I now am able to see to walk around,
Funny how our minds get set on our troubles,
Wonder how we will ever get through.
But seeking God for the answers,
He will always help us through.
