A ghost I be,
A shell of this man,
Pain is all I see,
Hello sandman,
Let me sleep my life away,
And never wake up again,
Asleep and drift away,
Out of this pen,
Flying above myself,
The pain is gone,
It’s all locked up and on the shelf,
What a useless peon,
A shell I be,
A ghost of this man,
The body anything but holy,
An angel with no wingspan.

Ooooh, unusual.
I like this, especially that last stanza. It works well.
I also like how the lines in the first stanza and last stanza are swapped.

last stanza's my favorite..
