The Bad Samaritan

Contributed by upomik on Sunday, 12th June 2005 @ 12:19:29 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Why don't you help me when you see I'm down?
A bloody piece of pulp left dying of the ground
Have you not enough kindness to offer a helping hand?
Or must I retain my title "The greatest suffering girl in the land"

The dark lord can help me...why can't you?
My scars are no more because of him
All good has left me replaced with evil
My once lusterous dreams...all dim

I now serve my master as a right hand man
Because you could not help for two seconds
He gives me closure something you couldn't do
You were too busy counting your blessings

So thanks for nothing you could have saved me
But you didn't ...you couldn't just walked away
What a samaritan you are...VERY good job
Leaving an angel on the ground to decay

i like this very much. very thought provoking piece and i agree, many people are too self-centred and contain no empathy to lift people up. Its just the cruel world we live in today.
all in all, very good job.

im not sure if im interpreting this correctly, but it seems as though you are saying you are turning away from God and following satan.....

maybe i just read too much into it, if im right im sorry for you.....but no matter what it means it was written well.
