Will You Marry me?

As he presents to her that one final rose
He wonders if she knows
His palms get sweaty
As he gets the ring ready
Done so much to get this moment perfected
He knew that out of all she could've chose, he was selected
What makes this moment special is not the price of it all
It's the promise that he'll be there to help her if and when she falls
Her eyes twinkled as he told a funny joke
Then out came the question, he didn't even choke
It was all in his head, the question never came
But because he loves her, he'll ask her just the same
After a while into conversation
He came to this culmination
I love her and she loves me
With that he knelt and asked, "Honey, will you marry me?"
