Penetrated

Contributed by Jane_Doe on Saturday, 11th June 2005 @ 02:56:37 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

In a blistering and confusing life,
A spark of hope and sanity,
Quicker than the rest,
Painfully real

Silently looking back,
Searching,
Reaching out for that little light in the darkness,
And then,
They are found.

Two serene orbs,
Filled with oceans,
From before these times of constant acceleration,
When all was more beautiful than anything now.

And those two spheres,
Containing the same stunning beauty,
Are suddenly all that can be seen,
All that can be felt,
All that exists.

And they won't be pulled away from,
Things just can't go back to before,
There is no life without that ecstacy,
And after turning away,
It will be a dream,
Gone before they could truly be understood.

And I...
Just
Feel
So
Penetrated
