Hiding From You

Standing there
I watch him
My heart beating fast
He laughes and grins that goofy grin
As his friends ruffle his short hair
Congragulating him on his shot
The buzzer sounds and they all sit down
And he takes a drink of his blueberry gatorade
He looks up and smiles at the crowd
And for a second he glances at me as I stare
He is so beautiful
My soul soars as he glances at me again
But I turn as if someone was calling me
Afraid that if I stare any longer I'd blush
Ruining my secret
I glance back at him through my hair
He is still there
Staring at me
As the loud buzzer shrills again
He jumps up and strolls onto the court
I watch him through out the game
The world just fades away
Then the crowd breaks in cheer
All running out on the court
He scored the winning basket
But I leave before he can see
My blush
I notice him searching the crowd
A puzzled look on his face
But I hide away
Praying it isn't me he is looking for
I love him
So very much it hurts
But I'm not ready
For anyone to know
