anguished
|
Wandering aimlessly, lost in a daze
Infiltrating my soul in numerous ways
Alienation because I cannot find
The reasons why I left you behind
Serenading my soul, I can still hear you
Fragile, I can't remember feeling so blue
Acting so pretentious, drawing me in
Forgetting how I started, knowing I should end
Simultaneously lurking in the same dark
Eluded from my corner, I see your spark
Broken vessels, shattered dreams
Remembering a life I have not yet seen
Forgiving of you as your memory dies
Content, I can finally close my eyes
