Why Did You Do It?

Contributed by Serendippitty on Friday, 10th June 2005 @ 09:45:47 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Whyd you do it
Whyd you take the gun
And fire five shots at your own father
And then become stunned

And take the gun
to take your own life
Why didnt you let anyone know
About your inner strife

Why didnt you tell all of you friends
let them know you were in pain
You couldve told someone
There is no shame

You took the shotgun
and with it two people died
You shouldve seen it today
When all of the people cried

No one knew
and now your dead
And leaving thoughts and questions
in everyone's head

We all knew you were confused
doing all the things that were bad
But we didnt know
that you were this mixed up and sad

Whyd you do it
take a gun and cause so much pain
You left us all with so much grief
and nothing to explain

wow! i'm so, so sorry this happened. this is a sad poem. i just wish it didn't have to happen. this person was just confused, yes, they should've reached out. yet i know how hard it can be to talk to people. i wish this didn't happen to you and i wish you the best of luck!!

You'll be in my prayers.
