I miss it,
The way we were before.
Sometimes I wonder,
Could she and I
Ever go back to that?
I wish I could hold her again,
Stare into her beautiful, blue eyes,
And get lost in them.
I wish I could feel the warmth
Of her hands in mine,
Or the warmth of her body
When she embraces me,
And I gently kiss her lips.
I wish I could tell her
That I still love her.
But, most of all,
I wish I could see her
Take my hands in hers,
Look into my eyes,
And hear her say
"I love you"
