A Message

Topic: Grief

I see you in your sorrow, I feel you in your grief
But what you see as horror, I feel as relief
You feel that you were so to blame for what I had to do
But I can tell you mother, It was not to do with you

You gave me all the love in life, that you had there to give
But there were things inside my head that made it hard to live
I know you find it hard to see , and try to understand
Why your dear and loving son, died by his own hand

I can't explain the reasons, I have to make you see
That I am now so happy and now I am so free
I feel the love you send to me, each and every day
I hear you when you talk to me, I feel you when you pray

I want you to look forward and listen to my voice
Remember good times that we had and see I had a choice
The person here who wrote these words was here to play her part
To tell you my sweet mother dear, you're here within my heart
