Somewhere between
The possibility
And the reality
Flickering quietly in dying light
Is
This
The sun having gazed upon
Hope
Freedom
You?
Only hours before
Taunts me from the blue
Of summer skies
And the stones I cast to strike
It down
Return to sender
But ah
You have given me back my sky
Rolling clouds and
Eternity stretching over open waters
Slashed with heaven
A trail of promises
Leading to you
Is it better to set off
In but a boat crafted only of mislaid hope
To your island
And drown in the waves of despair
Than to drown In the land of mediocrity?
I’ll take my chances with the sea
Hannah
Who
Ruza
Are
Stuart
You?
