Almost alone

Topic: Lifepoems

Forever rain & never clouds
No 1 can help me now
With shattered glass upon this pane
I'll fall eternal for no more pain
With teary eyes- my souls' alone
Lost memories of home sweet home
In fatigues tattered & torn
The only soldier who was never born
Faith has forgotten his pass glory
Once given up all that is holy
In crowded rooms I cry & yelp
Often heard but never helped
When tables turned- all certainly plea
Never innocent, forgotten guilty
Such a nice guy he proudly shows
The actors is he. so kind & bold
With body young & spirit wise
Yet never resting- thriving to rise
Bound by chains to this life
Of lies & tries- the unending nite
Misguided youth with heartache crush
Broken hearts were dealt of that royal flush
Into the dark there lies some hope
While devils grasp around his throat
Always forward. Leap & bound
I remembered- "once lost, but now I'm found..."
Needing of nites with unsung prayers
In He I trust and never fear
These trying times will make quite weary
Never seen this heart so dreary
Has he lost his will to journey on
Regreting the day that he was born
Never, no NEVER will they lead astray
Bless this creed til my dying day.
