In spite of me
You used to lead
The beautiful and talented
And my love for you is as thick as lead
Just like the river
That flows thru the desert,
And the power that used to come off you makes me quiver
In fear I tremble
Scared and unsteady
Please don’t go!
I’m not ready!
Take me with you I cry
Into the night
Without your guide,
the fire grows inside
it evaporates the source
even though now your gone
the fire inside pulses strong

I liked this poem and its language....i wrote poem called fire, but mayb it should have been called spirt idk...well this was a great write....keep it up
