I'm running down an endless road,
Falling in an eternal sky,
With confusion filling my head,
And lies passing me by.
I try to run from my problem,
But still I can not escape,
From these whispers,
Screaming in my head.
My head filling with deceit,
Soon to be blinded by tears,
My thoughts clouded,
Revealing Artless fears.
No longer able to hide,
I rid myself of the pain,
Completely deleting my existence.

Hey Karlee, i really enjoyed this poem. It had a nice darkness to it, and really deals with a person's problem that's being told. The climaxing resolve at the end is quite powerful.
Take a look at my latest work, 'Don't Worry' by Frankcube. |
