Freedom At The Edge Of Anger

Freedom At the Edge Of Anger-Elle. Yates

It was like I've never felt freedom
I could have left that night
And when I turned around again
My open space, closed its eyes.

I never knew how much anger I had
Or how bad it was holding me back
And I awoke
Now a smile will never be shown again.

I'm sorry if my eyes scare you
How they seem to change
How they show the real me
How they show everything.

Red with anger and sadness
Blue with Peace and happiness
Or Grey and green
With words..
Unspoken.

I want to feel
Something that I've known.
But something I can't reach
My freedom.

If I could I'd leave this town
I'd have to apologize for being so cold.
I'd do with a note
Stuck to the curtain blowing in the window.
Waving like all sanity is gone.

When the sun shines down on you
Don't think of me.
When you see a more beautiful smile
Never think of mine.

You left me last
As if you care.
And now all I can say to warn you.
Sadness is what you shall soon dwell.

I must agree this was a very nice read. There was consistency and you got to the point pretty fast, you could have gone on and on and one but you didn't. Good job!
