It's hard to breath,cannot sleep,
It's all a memory of what we were,
I miss what we used to be,
now it's all gone and the pain is here,
and I would take it back,
take myself far away, (from the fear)
because I see it all so clearly now,
the venom in you - injected by love,
I watch you lick your wounds,
I watch the disease in you - a cycle,
the only thing - your head is screaming,
you can do to be - just leave me,
I hate to be your tragedy,
I watch you play me,
Suspect I don't know a thing,
*forget* you, *forget* your rules,
the games have turned,
the pain - burns - like your eyes,
I used to lose myself in them,
and you used to hold me closely,
now your hands grip tightly,
around my wrists,
and your blade is cutting,
fraily ripping my heart,
and I hate it, you, and myself,
I hear you, see you, why won't you leave,
I can't stop you,
I won't make you.

im impressed. this poem has a lot of twists and is pack-full of emotion. i think the last line really leads the poem to the biggest twist.
"i won't make you"
i also like how you said
"i hate to be your tragedy,
i watch you play me"
i think you most likely meant "play me" as in "fool me" like with other girls and stuff, but for a second i thought of tragedies...the plays written in the old days..and i dont know it was a good way of putting. just telling ya =).
(dont know if i made any sense to you at all...if i didnt dont worry....it happens. ima litle...complex i guess...lol)
