Love....When people think of love all they think about is beauty and happiness. When I think of love I think about pain and sacrifice. Love is a reality that we all must face. It is a blessing at times but a curse in so many ways. There is no escaping it. If I had a choice between living a life with love and living a life of loneliness I would choose loneliness, I would probably be happier and I would always find something to do. Love always has a way of hurting.
Love is like a rose. Soft to the touch, beautiful to the sight, but has thorns all over that will cut, scrape and make you bleed. If you cut the thorns off and rip the rose from its roots, it will die in a few days. That's how love works because if you want to keep it alive you have to suffer and bear the cuts, scrapes and bleeding.

this was pretty good. i think it cold have been a bit more. although i did enjoy your image about love. this i write as part of what you just mentioned--for you--enjoy...
you've touched me with your love
the rose of heaven steals my heart
the stem of truth does not hurt my hand
no red lies or rooted cries
you've touched me with your love |
