Lovers Walk
~~~~
All the stars are out tonight
And the sky is shining bright
It’s a wonderful night for a walk
Let’s head towards the park
Hand in hand we walk along
Carelessly whistling a lovers song
Thoroughly enjoying the time we spend
Secretly wishing it would never end
At a bench, we stop to rest
Enjoying what nature does the best
I sneak in for a little kiss
But in the darkness I slightly missed
Oh well, I missed my chance
To make it up, I’ll ask her to dance
We gently swayed to the night sound
Interrupted by nothing that was around
Amongst the flowers, on a bricked sidewalk
We moved along with simple talk
What a night we got to share
At this perfect time of the year
