Could I?

Suicide
|
She runs to the top of the roof,
Looking down at the trafic she smiles,
She knows she will soon die,
And with one swift movement her soul leaves her body,
As she falls into the unforgiving streets.
Now that she is gone,
I can't help to wonder,
If I would've helped her through it all,
Could I have saved her?
Could I have stopped her?
I can't get the images out of my head,
Her screams fill my heart and soul,
As I too become one with the pavement,
What is the point of living in a world that can't breath.

"Interesting... " I liked the way this poem was writen and presented, with only the end of the life not the "up to" that caused it, I was taken back by the way it started out in the third person and ended in first person, I am hopeing that this isant about you, and if it is please dont do this you have a talent that most peopl dont understand, and if nothing else dont do it for our sakes. we are always here if you need us. God bless.
