The Face
A deceitful liar whom hides true feelings
The Face
A drapery that covers honesty and sincerity
The Face
A truly hideous invention that sways our views of life
Beauty is a twofold of honesty and lies
The Face ensures elaboration that it is indeed what matters
While The Mirror pursues detail of all the discord and mishaps that threaten our lives
Which is good?
Which is evil?
We are told good always prevails
We are told evil is always defeated
We are told beauty is only skin deep
We are told it’s what’s inside that counts
Who are we fooling?
The Face lies
The Mirror shows intimate feelings
But in the end
Who is shattered?
