Apocalypse

Brilliant lights dance across the night’s glance
All the black and mysterious illuminated by this Aurora’s delirious
Mystical magical night of Twilight
Singing silently the tune of destruction
Lastly the gasps I hear all around me – soundly erupting
As the world turns to darkness it crowns me – soundly corrupting
The moon stops shining; it begins the sighing of sorrows long past
The birds stop singing; they begin the ringing of death; it tolls
The children stop playing; they begin the straying of lonely lost souls
I smell blood and death in the air
Soulless creatures crawl around me, my mind grows bare
Nothing left in this realm of the living, only dead and dust remain
No living
Only I wasn’t taken to the great beyond
Only I am left all alone
The lonely darkness will soon consume me
If soon I don’t find a way out of this gloomy end
Nearby I hear an ancient chant of the apocalyptic end
As if to hold my heart in fear
The songs of the passed on Fills my ear
Fills my soul
Fills my tears
Sucking life from me, taking me roughly
As the last breath leaves my cold body
The last thing I see
My cold body
Silently calling as a final tear’s falling
In the second before my finale’

Well done! You have an excellent command of language. I'm not entirely sure whether I like the rambling style the way it is, or would prefer more structure. But the pictures and rhymes are quite superb. Keep it up!

Andrew
