the girl has gone grey

Inkwells fo tears
are of no use to me
I've no use for you
You're nothing but a memory
I soak those in gasoline
and watch them burn
til there is nothing left but ashes
ashes to ashes
dust to dust
and die you must
cry on his shoulders
The girl has gone grey
a faded shade of black
I guess it's all my fault
for just leaving her in the cold
she was white as pure snow
but I gave her a taste of darkness
a taste of bitter black ink
In the end he gets what he wants
he'll leave you broken hearted
and I wont be around
to pick you up
You had your taste of ink
but you still try to be pure
so now you are a nice shade
of stormy grey
the shade of cold embers
It's not my fault
she just kicked me out
why does she blame me
It's her own **** fault
I'll just let her burn with the memories
turn into the dust
and blow away into the wind
I'll fade into the background
and just walk away
