Life Changing Remedy

Topic: StoryPoetry

I lay here trying to figure out how on earth I got here?
“Ms. Perfect” got pregnant at such an early year.
According to the doctors, this could never even happen
Then “ooops!” some sort of slip up and they don’t know what hit em’!

I suppose I put myself in this screwed up situation
Sex before marriage causes all sorts of complications.
Well, I can’t think of that now, here comes my little baby
I hope I’m a good mother, a good caregiver? Maybe.

She’s here now, I hear her crying; now what am I to do?
I’m a single mother without a man and who doesn’t have a clue.
Emotions are raging in me that I’ve never felt before
I’m not crying from my fear or pain, I don’t feel that anymore.

A few days and transfusions later she’s laying here in my arms
A blessing in disguise she is and she’s filled with all my charms!
I never thought the day would come that I’d love someone so much
God has blessed me with this little person who’s changed my life with just one touch.

This was gorgeous hun, you amaze me, able to stand up with the
strength you are. And to remember that the blessing comes from
God, and just to see her as a blessing - you are wonderful. Nice poem,
I'm really glad I opened it up. Good luck in all you do!
