Why do we have friends?

Why do we have friends?

To laugh at all your stupid jokes
To sit, watch movies, eat pizza, and drink cokes
To tell you if your hair looks a mess
To help you find that perfect prom dress
To tell your deepest darkest secrets to
To tell you that jerk guy is too good for you
To hug you when youre feeling low
To inform you of things you do not know
To make you forget about that stupid boy]
To fill you heart with so much more joy
To pick you up when youre feeling down
To ake a drive around the town
To protect you and watch your back
To defend you when others are talking smack
To be there for you all the way
To be there in every crisis whatever it may
To make you laugh, bring a smile
To be there for you all the while
To listen to all those gory details
To make comments, opinions, it never fails
To be you friends, comadres, best pals forever
To always be there for every endeavor

This is a good poem and it makes you want to take all of your friends one by one and just hug them and tell them how much they mean to you. I mean what are we if we don't have friends.
