Forgiveness

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

it's easy to say it, when no one's around
but as soon as I'm here, It's like the words can't be found
But I'm not asking too much, am I?
and all I'm wanting to hear are lies
If your telling me it's over, I wish it's untrue
your words are getting colder, it's just me and you
that's through

Forgiveness is not in my family's genes
cheating is not what I saw in my dreams
you and your eye's can find a ride home
When you get there just know that I'm still alone
If your telling me it's over, I wish it's untrue
your words are so much colder, it's just me and you
that's through

And as dark as my eye's I still see you lies
I remember your scent, like I could ever forget

Whispers approach under two perfect moons
they repeat the same words I've been preaching to you

If your telling me it's over, I wish It's untrue
If I could learn forgiveness, I'd learn it for you
