A face without a name
In his right hand 40oz of shame
In his left a cancer stick
half lit with the remains of a candle wick
One of 20 from his cake not long ago
but times have changed and so he grows
To be the man in his father dreams
he chose the life most choose not to lead
Too smart for an education he turned to the streets
learned the meaning of life and caught onto the beat
Much more than most can say for themselves
Who call their lives the equivalent of hell
He's the doctor you see
when your heart starts to bleed
he's the artist you hear
when you look in the mirror
What we have is the ultimate man
bred to survive in our modern land
A hero among thieves fearing their doom
The hero is I and the thief is you
