Sugared Lies

Contributed by jimmato on Tuesday, 7th June 2005 @ 06:21:12 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Locked down
I said I loved you but you stayed free
Never promised anything but I thought you'd
Not laugh at me
I tried loving
I take it all back your ugly

I didn't ring
Don't throw your life away on nothing
Thought we'd be together but she
Wouldn't do it for me
I did everything
I'm in it for one last fling

When you tell me lies
Your so fat and bloated with contempt
When you tell me lies
I grow sick from sugared words yet I'm content
Never one to ask of your intent
Spun such tales we start the descent.

Slip away
The night seems young but's as old as time
Thought we'd stay the same forever
But you tried to become whats forgotten
Not to be trusted lest you steal the day
I take it all back
You're nothing

I love verses 1 & 3, they are hilarious. The song with a few minor changes would make a great song.

smiles,
Rita

LMAO---wow jim, some pretty scathing words here...lol I'd hate to break up with you!! I really like this; poem/song whatever it is, it's great.
