These Tears

Contributed by fastpitchqt on Tuesday, 7th June 2005 @ 05:17:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Those restless, sleepless nights have come back
Where I sit in bed alone tossing and turning
Those nights where I cry myself to sleep are back again

What did I do wrong?
I actually thought I was doing something right
I thought I had found someone who cared
But maybe it was all a mistake

Tossing and turning about in my bed I wonder
Did I care too much??
Am I wasting my time??
Are these more useless tears being cried?

I can’t sleep
I stay up half the night curious
Why can I be happy?

Every time I find happiness something happens
Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be
Maybe I am supposed to be alone

My tears keep staining my rosy cheeks and red pillow
They keep falling like rain in the night
I wish I could make them stop, but I cant

Only you can make the tears disappear
Only you can make me smile
But do you care enough?
Does it matter to you that I stay up crying?
Do you know these tears are over you??

I just wanted to let you know this is a wonderful poem. And it sounds just like the same thing I used to go through and then it was finally able to stop because I finally found someone who cared and loved me but then I messed it up. So now I cry every now and then and hate myself for messing things up. So I just want to wish you luck and hop your pain goes away to. because I know how it feels because I've felt it to.
