What do you want from me?
What words do you need me to say?
Anything at all
That will make you
Love me still

You were my best friend
Up until then
I don’t know how
Or why
It’s just
What they say
As the way
It goes
And I don’t
Like it at all

What do you want from me?
What words do you need me to say?
Anything at all
That will make you
Love me still

The words you said to me
The way they
Made me feel inside
Like nothing ever heard before
The thing that made my day
I don’t know
What I did wrong though
Everything was ok with you
With me
So I don’t see
It right now

What do you want from me?
What words do you need me to say?
Anything at all
That will make you
Love me still

I sat down crying the rest of the night
I liked you
I thought you liked me too
But I guess
That’s not the way it works
With you
And I said it
You said it to
But it didn’t make it better
It just
Made it worse for you

It was so beautiful
A great way to start it off
But it became a horrible ending
For me
One for you too
That’s the end of it all
Ended it now
It’s all over
For me and….. For you.
