Back to back they stood
Full of pride and grossly misunderstood
Posture rigid, face grim and mask like
Eyes fixed within, an expression of anger
Rather risk a shot to die
Then face the inner sense of false pride
Overseer barks out the count
One, two, three...
Ten is the magic number
When disagreements are managed by shooting one another
They are willing for death to descend
This is a case where nobody wins
Rather then face each other with verbal reprimand
Taunted into fighting a dual, they stand
One over the other a better shot
What ever happened to rhyme and reason
Ten
BANG
You're dead
