in love with an idol-god-man (we all know how it is.)

Contributed by _myonlyone_ on Tuesday, 7th June 2005 @ 03:53:32 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

god of all men, perfectly
statuefied
and placed on a pedestal of
gold
by the one
the one of your many
adoring
screaming
idealistic fans
(of you,
the everyday man.)
idealistic unrealistic
diamond bubbles en
casing the frame of the idolized
you
you and the mask
created bye your adoring,
gathered
en masse
about the base of your throne.
cast low,
the so many uncountable infinitely dirty pebbles on their insignificant beach.

one pebble daring
so much
as to glance at her one-true-love
caught his eye
and saw.
and sievelike, it all vanished.
the Idol, once more perfect.
"no-flaws-and-I-truly-know-his-heart-the-perfection-of-it-all-with-his-soul-as-pure-and-loving-as-my-mother-with-an-infant-me-in-her-arms."

and then the implosion.

one idol-eye shifts and catches the one adorant with its stabbing-uncaring glare and the diamond bubble shatters with the crash of the pedestal and its ideals with the transformation of the perfect to the everyday.

and she smiled to see the flawed being for what it was
and saw that it
(the god-man)
was the lie of the universe-galaxy-world.

and she deserved better.

well my god hasnt come crashign down...yet..i hope he never does..but it always seems to happen
this is one of the most interesting ways to see love portrayed..its like one big metaphor...but it speaks teh truth...even though you may see the flaws..they seem perfect anyway because they are the perfect flaws of the perfect guy
interesting..its the only word i can think of...its a good interesting too! :)
