Dark clouds muddle your perception.
Ominous you drift through cold and icy waters.
Dread...
Tensness sets in...
Desperately you hope that you do not mess it up...
Throw yourself on the ground...
Head away and full speed...
Stand up and fight...
It is our instincts that set us apart...
The victims
And the heros...
We all fall to the mercy of our own decisions.
Instinct.

Short and to the point. I like it. You speak the truth. Good piece! |

I like the brevity of the lines - they bring across the point of the poem like a punch. I particularly like the rhythm of the second-last line - "We all fall..." - how true!
