I Hate Me

I thought you were different,
You made me trust you deeply,
I cared very much for you,
I thought I learned my lesson last time,
I swear this time I didn’t expect it,
It was a shock to me,
I saw the signs but ignored it,
I knew for sure you wouldn’t leave,
Why though?
Why does it happen to me?
I trusted you deeply,
I let out my heart for you,
But in the end,
I am crushed, crying like a baby,

I had enough time to stop this,
Damn me, I hate myself for this,
Look at me now, I hate me,
I thought this would be different,
But it’s just like the others,
My feelings are destroyed again,
I can’t think straight,
Why did I let myself down?
I am so alone now suffering,
I hate me for this.

what a flow of emotions here, love hurts even more so when you think you know someone and they end up to be nothing more than a stranger, great write
