Why I love you

Contributed by Triple on Monday, 6th June 2005 @ 11:41:39 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Elevating me to the tallest mountains
Giving me the beauty of the awe inspiring waterfall
In astonishment of the depth like the Marianas Trench
Of the love you gave me

Singing softly to me in my times of need
Holding my hand as we slowly walked together
Sharing the joys of life with me
Is how you quieted my fear

Wanting me to be your knight in shinning armor
To protect you from your fears
And hold you when you softly cried
To honor, love, and cherish you

Offering me a glimpse of hope
Laughter and joy of children
The things that could be
And you offered that to me

I didn’t think I was worthy
It wasn’t something I ever had
To know some one cared
Caused me to have fear

Your love so pure and sweet
No one else could compete
A love that was for me
That is why I love you

Hmmm...........hesitant a bit that it may break your heart but comment must be out of freewill like LOVE.Your expression and adjectives did not support the power of your emotions. But it is yours...I wish you could write more objectively out of your subjective analysis marking it birth of masterpiece. It never meant to discourage you but it is my sadness' expression.Rashid

Love is inexplicable and this is a valiant effort. It speaks from the heart and it's simplicity is appealing. Very nice. (Kudos)
