The stars, sun, and moon may not shine from time to time
Your love for all of us always does
Your voice soothes and reassures us all in times of need
Like the ocean waves softly crashing against the shore
The very essence of you as a sun
Drives away the fears of the night
The tree frogs sing their soft songs
As you sing yours of true friendship
A day lily blooms for only a day for all to enjoy
Your love and friendship blooms for all everyday
Your love and friendship calls to us all
To be happy, compassionate and caring
