Another Day

Contributed by InexactExactness on Friday, 3rd January 2003 @ 08:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Break a leg with good luck
Feel the pinpoint break the skin
Lucky charms so ugly
In the morning when I wake up
Get dressed, Get over her
You need this more than ever
Never forget her ways
Times are strange with coincidence
We will meet again someday
We will meet and drink all night
Reminisce with past lives
Reminisce of times that I forget
Quiet while walking up the stairs
No noise can come from my feet
Quiet now, get on with it
Tip toe up there silently
Break my legs with fortune
Brush the covers over my skin
Toothpaste tastes so nasty
The taste of it when I go to bed
Another day without her
Another day has already died
Another memory remembered
Another night has flashed before my eyes
Losing all of my reason
Losing all of my faith
I need you here more than ever
Just to get through another day
