You Are My Depression

Contributed by UrAllEyeAm1205 on Monday, 6th June 2005 @ 09:18:54 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I don't know how you do it
Just push me far away
I mean, I've loved you for almost 4 years
Every second of every day
But no matter what I do
You seem to not notice me
My friends and family tell me to leave it alone
That "this is how it's ment to be"
But they don't know how I feel inside
Each time I see you there
I wish that you could give me a sign
To show me that you care
My love can not prevail
No matter how hard I try
I just wish you could look inside me
And see how much I cry
See this place I'm in
Where hearts are broken and souls are shattered
Where light can not enter
And suicide is all that matters
This is what depression is
It shows in the scars
I just wish you could understand
That you are the stars........
...to my night sky...

Trust me, i know the feeling I loved this guy for so long, and he turned out to be a jerk... my friends told me the same thing, but i put him on such a pedestal, and he wasnt worth it, but the poem was great tho... keep it up

4 years is a long time to give your heart to someone. And that can not be fixed in a matter of moments. But be strong. Know that you will find someone better. I know it is an old cliche but it is ever so true. When I got divorced I thought I would never find someone. Then I found the one. Sure we have had our ups and downs, but our love is shining through. Just know when you find them, you will know.. Great Write. Express it on paper with a pen, and not on the floor with the color of crimson red.. That is not the answer only a fools escape.. Im not calling you a fool though :D

oh my gosh, not long ago i was just like you, i lost the one guy i truly loved & it hurt so much & i just didnt want to live, i hated life. I hated everything & i hated HIM. so i can relate to your anguish which is hard to describe and i really dont know kno what to say to you because i still miss him alot and still get very depressed, but i guess you must try to be strong. this is a brilliant, heart-wrenching emotional poem and i will pray that you survive this hurtful turmoil
msg me anytime ok and i am happy to talk! i really love this, hang in there my friend!
