Little things used to pass unnoticed
And nothing mattered except the dream
But it didn't take too long to notice
I didn't mean anything to him
Love was a game
Though we never compromised the rules
He got what he wanted
And I fell for the same story like a fool
Leaving and coming back
Why is it so hard to resist temptation
I know I shouldn't do this
But I feel so good as a center of his attention
And now he's gone again
Happy elsewhere and always late
Now he's just a friend
But I'm still relying on fate

By experience don't we learn ?
Foolish ones sometimes get burned.
I was there.
My heart was bare
Why I like this poem;
Humm, may never be known.
I'm a guy,but it certenly hit home.
nyck--you have talent I enjoy your writes.
