Friendship is All I Ask

My thoughts are killing me slowly,
You say you want me,
But you think it’s not going to work,
I don’t understand you babe,
I told you I like you,
But you say you are scared,
You say I scare you,
Babe, you are confusin’ me
I don’t get what you trying to say,
You say I am the girl of your dream,
But you think we should not get together,
I want more though,
I can never tell you that,
No I Can’t,
You are interested in another girl
You told me so,
That’s why I am letting go,
Friendship is what holds us now,
I only ask for that,
I know we are both hurting,
But nothing can be done,
We just have to live by it,
See what tomorrow brings.
