Now I cry do you hear
I love you please don't dear
do this to me
Your ignorance it's makin' me ache
the painful smile it's hard to fake
this can't be
I miss you
Where are you
I can't find your soul
I need you
Why are you
Lyin' there so cold
Picture our beautiful life
That's destroyed by that knife
What happened here
I can't describe the pain in my heart
You left no cures only cuts
Why'd you do this
I realise it's too late now
The tears still don't drip somehow
Now you're gone

I really felt this one, would make a great monologue.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
