Common Man's Grave

Body does decay but yet purifies of all blemish of sin
At last I gain righteousness whilst death pales my skin
Bones rot away right down to there structured marrow
As I am buried into the ground and saved from all things shallow
Deteriorating heart now at much better use
Sparing of thy spirit from all pain and livings abuse
Ceasing to bleed as lasting external scars do heal
Just like the painful internal scars I can no longer feel
Lying here forever in this coffin I have been confined
Engulfed by the dark but free from the darkness of my mind
All thoughts do perish so I am haunted no more
Finally at peace and no longer bound by any law
Imprisonment of the senses but one of magnificent creation
Perishing of an unfulfilling life, my only fascination
I so desire oh yes I do darkly crave
To enter into Hades, the common man’s grave
