Life of a Poetor Musing Me

Contributed by ladyfawn on Friday, 3rd January 2003 @ 04:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Poetic
firey images
read calmly
sadly
slowly slowly
deeply
slowly,
read
in blowing
shivering winds
of sunless
trees eternity
wholly.

Absorb
you into
poetic soul,
touching
a
heart's
blackest
moment
amongst
rigmarole.

Poet
happy,
hopeless,
hoping,
grouchy;
yet
sometimes
quite
ouchy.

Mettling musing
sleepless spirit;
can you touch it
can you hear it?

Great
proportion
permits anxietys
bitter keeper;
or mood's
illusion mystic,
dreaming darkness
as the god
or still the
reaper.

Weep here...

Melody elusive
as a butterfly?
Why?Why?Why?
Why?

Drink
bloody feelings
in, or
let your
mind herein
begin.

Poems that
disassociate,
poems that
will
rejuvenate.

Some
are biting
frightening
feelings now
numb-hollow,
Some
you can
scream breathe
sweat hope, meet
love or love's shadow
death's swallow.

Mettling
muddy musical
musing spirit;
can you
shadow me
forever, can
you hear
it, can
you
hear
it?!

..did

you

hear

it?

Nah. Nope. Couldn't hear it, although I can agree that muses meddle... they argue too. Oh... *hands mom some cookies she just made* There ya go!

I don't get you poets either.. always writin' stuff that rhymes when all us novelists do is let the muses do the runnin' us ragged and us tireing our poor fingers out. Mwahaha. I love poetry though, although I may have to reread it a few times. Many talented people here though. (All though I don't always comment.) Anyways, things to do and muses to lock in the closet.

Mars

We are such a crazy lot I guess. I hear it everytime my feelings button goes off. I hear the words typing up in my head to capture what will not be a lost moment of time. In my world poems are my short stories. My outlines to a whole picture.Poems are our choice.Saves a lot of trees to keep it short.LOL
Yay for the POETS.
