I try friend, I really do
When I’m the one you
Come to for a shoulder
I try to be a good listener
If I can, I will hug you
I must stay true
When you cry tears
I try to go back to those years
When I was strong and I try that, friend
I will not let you reach the end
I act tough and strong
We can’t have two thinking wrong
But, when you are gone, out of sight
I start to curse myself into the night
I can’t get any sleep
For I know that deep
Inside if I was a better friend
You’d not want the end
And not have the feeling to let go
If I could’ve been better, I know
That you wouldn’t be at this position
You wouldn’t struggle the competition
If only I’d been stronger
If I let you cry longer
I’m now screaming inside
I was on the wrong side
I joined the ****** darkness
And I’d grown obsessed
With the depression
And you were dragged in
With us and we are now
Going to hell
Damn world,
If only this girl
(As in me)
Could be
A little stronger
So we could all live longer

It nice poem Ialso have a e-mail stranger that
write to me every day it nice to hear what he up too the good thing i don't know him at all

| Well this is such a beautiful poem. It is so sad, but you have written it so well that the emotions throughout the poem can be seen. Thankyou so much for sharing. You reminded me of a friend of mine who has been going through a difficult time and I have been trying to help. Your poem reminded me of me trying to help her. It can be really hard sometimes, but I've learnt that often it doesn't matter how you help, sometimes you don't need to know what to say, but just being there and the fact that you care means so much. It can be a hard lesson to learn, but I just wanted to say, don't give up and seek help for yourself if you need to. I will be praying for you. |
