From Bud to Blossom

Contributed by dynamicx on Sunday, 5th June 2005 @ 05:44:07 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

To move on from a state
Of certain gloom
To cut out the bud
And then to bloom

Flower with talent
Express thy true thought
Say what you feel
Overcomb what you faught

Use the energy of good
To feed the right dog
Instead of displaying
The filth of a hog

A light waits to guide
On the right course
Put in the best effort
To be a work horse

Benefits need sacrifice
To make morals so rich
My future's in sight
The past was a glitch

Now to create action
To make me feel strong
Be mindful of others
Let's all get along

Cherish those inner thoughts
That create your great dreams
Life''s so much more joy
Than all the suffering it seems

Stick to your morals
That tell you what's right
Without dedication and focus
Self loses might

What an excellent job! It seems like you put a lot of effort into this write, and it paid off...Well done, I am very impressed. One little tiny glitch though....: 'faught' should be 'fought.' Keep up the great writes!
Scorp.
