Lilth, the first wife,
Left selfish Adam.
Started a new life,
Forgot that shed had-him.
She gave birth
To the daemons,
-The creatures that dare-
Then returned to the earth,
No one knows where.
Now, this girl that I love
She’s a bit like lilth,
A daemon at times
(We have our rifts).
But her darkness and demands,
Only turn me on.
The darkness becomes warmth,
The demands lead me on.
Now, ‘wot is my point?’
I may hear you say.
‘Well there isn’t a point’
Is what I will say.
Just that I love her,
Just how she is.
I will never change her,
Won’t break my lilth's kiss.

I like it. The only thing I would change is in line 4. "Forgot that shed had-him" to "Forgot that she'd had-him." Other than that. I think it's great. We all need our own Lillith at some point. |
