True Love

Contributed by Tiger018 on Sunday, 5th June 2005 @ 01:34:40 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

True love is not fragile like a window pane
It's strong like a tree in a hurricane
Through the toughest of storms it will bend and twist
So when blue skies return, it still will exist
From it's earliest days, it's roots grow deep
Into your heart and your soul it will creep
It's strength and beauty will be admired by all
In the spring, the summer, the winter and fall
There'll be happiness, sadness, joy and tears
Throughout the many passing years
In this new life together always take pride
In the strength of your love when you stand side by side
If you honor, cherish, trust and forgive
You'll enjoy the greatest of love for as long as you live

This was a good poem, must I must share my thoughts and feelings about true love, I really do not think anybody actually looks for true love, well actually young people usually just want somebody to be there for them to hold, love, hug and kiss, but then when people grow to be older this is actuallly when they start wanted to find true love, such as people around 20 or 30 and so on, that is what I actually think, when people are young they do not look for true love because they have their whole life to find who they are looking for, and they know that they might be the right person, people usually just want somebody to be there for them when they are sad or mad, they want somebody to be there for them all the time, somebody there to love, hold and kiss, somebody there to talk to. Sometimes the best feeling in the world can be holding a person you like and sometimes the best feeling in the world can be when you are listeneing to a song and you feels as if nothing else in the world can go wrong, everything dissapears and I actually believe that, that could be true happiness because you do not worry about things as much when you are happy, you will just worry about it later, but worry about it alot less when you are happy, while you are holding a person you like, everything goes away and you do not have to worry about a damn thing. Okay this comment is dragging on so I am going to end it now, lol, SLipSiX.

Excellent, i like the weather analogy, to my dismay, i don't think you could have added another word to it. its perfect with every angle. also great job of taking us through seasons if thats what you intended to do...
