Say the words of what you need
That’s what I beg, what I plead
I cannot give myself to thee
Unless you tell me who to be
Myself is not enough I fear
For you wont let me hold you near
I’d offer change of who I am
Just so I could be your man
My heart could be with yours now
I only ask you show me how
To capture your souls embrace
And bless me with your angelic grace
I ask of you please say the words
I beg that they don’t go unheard
For life has no meaning without you
There is no joy in the things I do
The morning sun just doesn’t shine
Without your heart beating with mine
The moonlight chases dreams away
That you’ll be there at breaking day
I wait to see your silken lips
And pray one day those words slip
Our souls could unite as one
If you only say what must be done

When I read your excellent poem I get every emotion you are feeling. It's a beautiful poem and very expressive. The only thing is you shouldn't have to change yourself for someone you love. If you're thinking 'what does she know' you're wrong. I know it feels like this girl is everything to you and you can't lose her no matter what but if she can't love you, you can't make her. Good luck hope everything works out!

| I loved that poem! I love how you really made the reader feel your emotions. Your longing for this person to accept and love you. I hope they do one day and that you two live a happy life together. Great job and start loving your self a little more and stop trying to be what this person wants you to be, you are a great writer and must be a great person, LOVE YOURSELF! Great job and I hope this person realizes how much you care. |
